Privacy Policy

Daily Thai · Effective June 8, 2026 · Provider: Rolando Parame · Contact: rolando.parame@gmail.com

Daily Thai is a Thai vocabulary app. We built it to need as little of your data as possible. This policy explains what is and isn't collected.

The short version

What we collect and why

On-device only (never sent to us): your placement level, saved words, learning progress, streak, tone-practice results, and app settings. Stored locally via Apple's SwiftData and shared with the lock-screen widget through a private app group.

Processed by Apple when you subscribe: purchases are handled by Apple's App Store and StoreKit. We never see your payment details. Apple shares anonymized transaction status with us through our subscription provider, RevenueCat, so the app knows whether you have an active subscription.

Diagnostics and analytics: the current version does not send usage analytics or crash reports off your device. A future update may add anonymized, aggregate usage analytics and crash diagnostics to improve the app. If that happens, this policy and our App Store privacy label will be updated first, and no data will be used to identify you personally.

What we do NOT collect

Notifications

If you turn on the optional daily reminder, it is scheduled locally on your device. We do not send push notifications from a server and receive nothing when a reminder fires.

Children

Daily Thai is rated 4+ and is safe for general audiences, but it is designed for adult learners. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
